Our Chouriço has 3 varieties, hot, mild, and mouro. Chouriço mouro is spiced like our mild Chouriço, but with a higher fat content. It is typically used in soups and stews to give more flavor to the dish.
We make our Chouriço on site, using our original family recipe of quality spices and freshly cut, never ground, pork. It is then wood smoked in our very own smoke house. Since our Chouriço is made by hand each package varies in weight, about 1 lb.
Ingredients: Pork, vinegar, wine, water, crushed red pepper, salt, paprika, white pepper, and garlic in a natural casing. (Chouriço mouro contains pork loin trimmings)
